ANZEMC: We Make EMC Compliance Simple

Quote...

"You can make more friends in two months by becoming genuinely interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."

Dale Carnegie

In A Nutshell...

At ANZEMC, Australian and New Zealand EMC compliance is what we do each and every day. It is not part of our business it is our business.

What does it mean?...

ACMA - Australian Communications and Media Authority

EMC - Electromagnetic Compatibility

RSM - Radio Spectrum Management (New Zealand)

ANZEMC Agency Agreement...

Through an ANZEMC Agency Agreement, ANZEMC acknowledges Australian and New Zealand EMC compliance responsibility for the products listed in the Agency Agreement’s Product Schedule. The Product Schedule is a customized and serialized document that lists a manufacturer’s products for which ANZEMC assumes EMC responsibility. Each time a manufacturer either adds or revises a product, an updated Product Schedule is provided to affected ANZEMC Agency Agreement holders. The ANZEMC Agency Agreement is of tremendous value to its recipients as it alleviates substantial costs in Australian and New Zealand EMC product compliance and shifts the responsibility for that compliance to ANZEMC.

Example 1 - International Manufacturer...

As an international manufacturer you may have one or several distributors of your products in Australia and New Zealand. The Australian and New Zealand Governments' place a legal responsibility on each of your distributors for the EMC compliance of your products. This means your distributors must be certified EMC compliance agents or contract an organisation (ANZEMC) to be their EMC compliance agent. Either way it represents additional costs in time, energy and money for your distributors.

But if you are an ANZEMC client, we are not only your EMC compliance agent but through our Agency Agreement we can effectively become the EMC compliance agent for your authorised Australian and New Zealand distributors.

Example 2 - Importer or Importing Distributor...

As an importer you are legally responsible for the Australian and New Zealand EMC compliance of the products you import. This places a tremendous burden on your organisation and can invoke considerable costs in EMC product testing and certification, product labelling and the creation and maintenance of government mandated product records. Not to mention the risk of heavy fines and prosecution for EMC regulation violations.

If the international manufacturer you import from is a client of ANZEMC, ANZEMC may be able to provide your organization with an ANZEMC Agency Agreement. An ANZEMC Agency Agreement virtually abolishes your legally binding Australian and New Zealand EMC regulatory obligations saving you a tremendous amount of time, energy and money.
